"This is the worst lung cancer doctor ever! My poor grandmother was diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer and went to see Dr. Gu to check if the cancer had spread to her lymph nodes. When Dr. Gu came in to the room with the results from her tests, she said she had great news. She sated that the cancer is not in her lymph nodes and that she will only need 5 radiation treatments and that she could beat the cancer. When my grandmother and my aunt heard the news, they were crying and hugging with joy only to get let down really quick. About a minute after the celebration started, Dr. Gu states "oh I am sorry, I have read the paper work wrong. It is in your lymph nodes, and you will need to have radiation 5 times a week for six weeks." For a Doctor who specializes in cancer, she should know to look over a patient's paper work thoroughly before sharing the news with them. My family was so hurt and upset by this and Dr. Gu showed no remorse for her actions. This is highly unacceptable and I would never suggest this doctor to anyone. No one who has cancer should be put through that situation. I do not recommend going to Dr. Gu unless you want to have your heart broken in a matter of minutes. She is very unprofessional."
