Alternative Medicine Practitioners - Dayton, OH

"I went in for moderate pain from a car accident a few years ago. I needed a new chiro for maintenance. We just moved and everything was really sore/out of whack - pain 7-8/10. He did all the typical range of motion and strength testing, poking, and prodding. He kept making everything hurt worse. Then he proceeded to tell me my pain is in my head. No, no it’s not. He turned me over to what I can only assume are 3 high school students:one took 5 tries to get my bp, one videoed me walking, and one played on her phone the whole time. I don’t know why or what they’re doing there, none of this was explained to me. THEN he didn’t adjust me. I had to wait until the next visit. I was in so much pain I was crying. WHY would you aggravate someone’s injuries and send them home WORSE then when they came in… when you had the ability to HELP! I never went back. He was very condescending and off- putting. I didn’t feel comfortable with his touch and I didn’t eel comfortable that he would listen to me. Imagine, telling someone with documented injuries after multiple tests that the pain is in their head! No. Just no. The office itself is old, run down, and dirty. The exam table has patches of duck tape. The area where they videoed me walking looked like the storage area of a high school gym. Very unprofessional all around."
