Primary Care Doctors - Ardmore, OK

"I have seen Dr. Burson on 3 occasions. The first visit was the only enjoyable one but most of the conversation was about my job and trying to get her family member a job. She had me do bloodwork and then prescribed me on medicine, but her office only discussed 1 of 2 prescriptions that I would be on. Then I took 1 of the prescriptions as I was informed by the pharmacist and a month later I returned to her with concerns and questions. The medicine was making me sick and dizzy and irregular. So, I did research and also watched some interviews etc trying to get more information on the drug and when I returned to her with all my concerns, she belittled me and tried to gaslight me. She told me that "It's sad you will let all these people influence you to stop taking a medicine that will save your life" also told me "You should research what effects diabetes has, do you want your feet to be amputated and do you want to die etc.?" She had me believing I was diabetic, but I was only showing pre-diabetic levels. She also told me "Well, you need to be taking meta-mucil everyday" (for being irregular) Never once did anyone tell me that prior to that day. I am not a doctor or medical professional that is why I went to her with my concerns. Then she was hateful and said "Well clearly you're not ready to take it so I will not prescribe it to you anymore" I left upset and crying. I waited an hour to see her only to speak to her for about 5 mins and get no answers just feel awful. I returned to her office the other day with concerns about my breasts and some abnormalities, I also told the PA there were other things which I went into detail about, when the doctor came in, she examined me, never said anything about whether she felt anything abnormal and all the questions I asked her she said "I don't know" I told her I started taking collagen recently and asked if that could have effects on me or maybe the reason for my changes, she said "I don't know, theres not a lot of research on over the counter medicines." Then she said she was going to schedule my mammogram and walked out after only being in the room for maybe 5 mins. Did not even concern herself with the fact that part of my back was showing when she opened the door. Then her PA came in and started talking to me and I said "is she done with the appointment?" She looked confused and said yes. I said are you kidding me I barely got to talk to her about anything and I had no idea our appointment was even through. Again, left crying and upset. I WILL NEVER see her again. She should find a new profession. "
