Words cannot express my gratitude and appreciation for Dr. Dumont and everything he has done for me. In Sept. 2010 he performed a coil embolization on a giant life threatening carotid aneurysm which in addition to being next to the pituitary was pressing on my optic nerve and limiting vision After receiving the results of my test Dr. Dumont not only changed his schedule to see me late Friday afternoon of a holiday weekend he had studied the results and contacted a colleague and fellow neurosurgeon in my home state on my behalf. When I decided have him do the procedure at Jefferson( one of my best decisions) he had everything scheduled the Tuesday following the holiday. He was very thorough and professional at all times. He saw me several times before and after the angiogram and embolization, explaining the procedures and answering questions. He was kind, professional and very thorough. I had complete confidence in him and surgical skill. The procedure was least invasive and recovery time was very short.
Dr. Dumont performed another embolization to repair the aneurysm this year. He again spent a lot of time before and after the procedure checking in and answering questions and concerns. I am totally fine today and even regained some vison loss.Recovery form endovascular surgery is only a matter of days and considerably safer than more invasive options. I would highly recommend Dr. Dumont and his team at Jefferson. I do not think you could ask for or fine a better doctor.
