Dr. Villa was a pleasant surprise. My work changed insurance and I had to change my longtime OBGYN over to someone new. I learned from experience that you don't want to mess around with chains when it comes to women's health doctors, so I did my research and DR. Villa looked great. He was great in person too! He was funny, attentive, and explained himself real well when doing basic procedures. He also answered my questions and offered me the time and attentiveness to open up the floor to bring up any problems or concerns I may have about my health. Not all docs do that... openly ask if there is anything you are concerned about. Because then you might bring up a laundry list of issues, or take more time... But Doc Villa did his due diligence and with finesse. It was funny too, when he first walked in he looked like any old guy that just walked in off the street. Jeans, t-shirt, baseball cap. Looked like he wandered out of a truck stop more than anyone would have guessed OBGYN. lol. Anyway I really like this guy. He's a keeper. And I don't think I've had a fella OB before. Didn't even think about it so goes to show he made me comfortable.
