Dr. Brian Blankenship, MD

Brian Blankenship, MD, is a fellowship-trained neurologist who has practiced with CoxHealth since 2026. He specializes in general neurology, with advanced subspecialty training in managing complex neuromuscular conditions and refractory epilepsy. A native of southwest Missouri, Dr Blankenship grew up in the area and went on to complete his undergraduate degree at Missouri State University, graduating summa cum laude with honors. He then earned his medical degree with honors from the University of Missouri School of Medicine, where he was inducted into both the Alpha Omega Alpha and Gold Humanism honor societies. Dr Blankenship completed his neurology residency at the University of Missouri, where he served as chief neurology resident.
