I used to think Karie was a caring doctor but last year i got a miscarriage and She and her team never even cared about how i felt but her team went on and on about my insurance. I had more care at the ER than from Her as a doctor and ive been with her office for a while. Instead of grieving, I had to worry more about if my visits were covered by insurance or not (even though my insurance was working, we were just in the middle of changing our plan) but that didnt mean they had to point that out to me every time i visited the office. Fast forward to this year, i went for a visit and i had to sit in there for close to an hour. Everyone else was taken in as soon as they walked in the office. It would have been great if i was told that maybe she’s behind so it would take longer but no explanation at all. I do not want to make this a race issue but when you see other people being treated with care and you’re not it just makes you wonder if things would be different if it was the other way around.

I absolutely love Dr. Devries. She has been my gynecologist for the past 10 years. I feel completely comfortable in her presence and can ask her about anything. She is gentle, informative and non-judgmental. Her office staff at both locations are also very helpful. Though I have moved further and further away over the last decade, I still prefer to drive the extra miles for my yearly exams because I don't think I could find a better doctor.
