i was turned off by her bedside manner and her rude, uncaring, staff. So much so that I've not had an annual exam in 2 years. I've NEVER been to a facility that would not recheck a high blood pressure reading. When I asked if they would and then patiently waited for the 2nd check, the woman at the front desk told me that this office was not that of a cardiologist - as if my just being spread eagle on a table was not clue enough that I knew where I was - and that if I wanted my blood pressure checked again, I would have to go there. SHE WOULD RATHER ME GO TO A CARDIOLOGIST to check my blood pressure than to have the staff member (who already said she would do it) perform the task. She said to me, UNPROVOKED - THIS is not the cardiologist. Dr. Rodgers' table did not have stirrups - which made the exam VERY UNCOMFORTABLE and she seemed to care not as she seemed ANNOYED that I was uncomfortable. The reason I seek out woman gynecologist is for this very reason - that women would "handle" other women with a kind of "familiarity" that a male doctor COULD NOT HAVE. But she proved me wrong. I was directed to sit in her office and waited on her after the rough treatment. She seemed both annoyed and surprised that I was there. I asked her if I were in perimenopause yet. She seemed annoyed by that and acted as though she was hardly the person to ask. The young lady that took my blood lacked good/passable bedside manner as well. I am typing this review a WHOLE YEAR and a half LATER. THAT is the effect it had on me. I cannot imagine being pregnant and being a patient here - though there was one woman that came in who the woman at the front desk treated well. So they have the capacity; They just didn't think that I was worthy. I will NEVER go back! I still feel rage when I ride by the office. The best thing that happened that day is that Rodgers recommended McCone for a colonoscopy. HE is a CLASS ACT!
