Dr Sanborn is amazing. When she explains a difficult result to me she looks into my eyes and we discuss. She makes you feel like you matter and she is going to do what she can to take care of your disease. I value her more than any doctor I have ever had. She also gave me recommendations for other doctors who specialize in cancer/critical care. Thru her I found a pulmonologist who is excellent too.

I feel very lucky, grateful and privileged to have Rachel Sanborn as my primary oncologist. Pretty much, absolutely everyone, and most interactions (excepting the 5-6 wait in the ER), has been wonderful - very supportive, kind, understanding, respectful. I am very grateful for all the wonderful providers and services I'm unfortunately having to get to know at the Franz Cancer Center.

Dr. Sanborn is an excellent doctor with her knowledge and compassion. She gave me very tough news, but was clear and caring with the best possible language to tell me the bad news of what is going on with my cancer. She answered all of my questions and did not seem rushed at all. I would highly recommend her to anyone. I am thankful she is (big)part of my care team.

Dr Sanborn is a bright light in what would be considered a dark hole. I adore this physician because she looks you in the eyes and lets you know she is working with you and understands what you are going thru. She researches the scans and gives you her advise on next steps. I am blessed to have her on my side.
