I had been a patient of this practice for almost 25 years.  My OB had retired so I had been seeing the NP (she is wonderful), I had some issues, she referred me to him. He was rude, acted like I was a nuisance, clearly had not reviewed my past medical history, did not explain what the procedure he was going to do entailed, or ask questions clearly for me to understand to answer them correctly.  He performed a procedure, without numbing, lubricant, sedative that I since learned should have been given.  I had been told I was coming in for a "brief" 10 minute consultation to discuss blood work and next steps.   I put to much trust in him/practice, and now I am physically hurt.  You know it is bad when the nurses in the room look as shell shocked as you...he didn't even wait for me to sit up on the table, jerked the curtain open and through over his shoulder that I may want to take some ibuprofen when I got home.  One of the nurses helped me up and then they beat it out of the room.  I dressed and waited for them to return with my check-out papers, when no one did I went to check-out and they told me he would see me in nine weeks.  I was not sure I would be able to walk out of the office I was in so much pain.  I am 58 years old, have had multiple pregnancies, ablation, been through menopause and survived breast cancer, this was not right.  This has been reported and is being investigated.
