If you are physically able run, don't walk,  away from Dr. Desmon and South Florida Orthopedics. What happened to me is negligent at best, malpractice at worst. I saw Dr. Desman on 10/26/20 for severe osteoarthritis. He gave me a cortisone injection and said he was referring me to PT. On 11/5/20 I used the South Florida Orthopedics patient portal to ask if I needed a referral for PT (Dr. Desmon told me I did not) and what else I needed to do to start PT. I got no response. I called the office and was told someone would get back to me that day. No one called. I left a message on 11/30/20, no one called me back. This is the worst experience I have ever had with any physician. I pray for everyone else who is a patient here that I am the exception and not the rule. I will be seeking alternative care.  I will also be contacting the Florida Medical Association to report my experience. I am in significant pain and have been basically abandoned by Dr. Desmon and SFO
