Dermatologist - Jamestown, NY

"I was a new patient, and was literally out the door in less than 17 minutes! I was taken in immediately, which was great, and the nurse was very sweet. However, when the doctor came in to do my annual skin check, he did not do a full exam and the only question he asked was if there was any particular area that I wanted him to look at. (I wanted him to look at my entire body, as it was a skin check!) I asked him what I should use to cleanse my face and what would help with blackheads, and his response was to buy a biore nose strip. He never asked me my skincare routine and made me feel like i was wasting his time. He was unfriendly, not thorough, and was walking towards the door as I was speaking, like he couldn't be bothered with me. The staff was nice but was insistent that I give them a credit or debit card to keep on file. Being that I'm employed by one of the hospitals, I am able to go to the office without paying a copay or deductible, but they said it's the office policy. Of course I finally find a doctor in my area who is considered a maximum savings doctor with my insurance (no surprise) and I will never return to this office. (Even that it's free for me.) Also, the exam chair had no paper on it and I had to lay bare back on it. The room was dated and messy, as well as the waiting room couches. It did not seem very sanitary. If it weren't for the nice nurse, than this office would get no stars. I did not want to even give 1 star as the overall rating, but you must give 1 in order to write the review."
